Especially for 24H Amsterdam West artists in residence Diede Claesen, Anne Caesar van Wieren en Bas van Rijnsoever will engage in a musical cooperation in the ‘vertical gallery’ staircase in the WOW Building. Inspired by the resonating sounds in the staircase they will bring you short sets of music and a fusion of their harmonies.
Anne Caesar van Wieren & Maaike van der Linde are 2/5 of the band Karawane. Karawane is a mix of psychedelic pop and free improvisation. Cacophony, alternating with whisper singing and chimes. Their debut will be released this year on Excelsior-Recordings.
Bas van Rijnsoever will play with his band BASTIAAN, a cooperation with producer Niels Kuiters and bass player Gijs Lichthart, a mix of melodious techno and dreamy electropop.
Diede Claesen plays fresh folkloric pop music with a bit of glitter, a tough edge and some surrealism that moves easily between commercial and alternative.
